The transcripts can be time stamped if required.  The same turnaround time and transcription process for audio transcription will apply to video transcription.

Using DVD or CD Media

For the transcription of videos, please save the files in two-hour segments per DVD; please do not make use of long-playing formats. If possible, please send us a straight-play DVD file formats otherwise we will need to do the necessary file sourcing before transcription can begin. (A straight play DVD will contain the video and audio only, not the rest of the files contained in the usual DVD menu). Where it is not possible for you to do this, then we will perform the required tasks and add the relevant costs to your bill.

Video Quality

It is best to receive high quality digital video i.e. without compression, as the best possible visual and audio quality speeds up the transcription turnaround time and results in a superior transcript. Rates will be increased for video/audio that is of a poor quality as this will require a longer transcription time. Our standard transcript indicators will be used where the audio cannot be clearly discerned.
